If you want to spend some time outdoors, Piedmont Park is the perfect place to spend an afternoon of leisure. With an area of more than 200 acres, in the park there is no shortage of things to do: there are walking and jogging trails, dog parks, children's play areas, picnic spaces, tennis courts, public pool and a farmer's market every Saturday. Thanks to its size, Piedmont Park also hosts a variety of major Atlanta events, including the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, the Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Atlanta Pride.
